Terms and conditions

These terms apply to purchases of Martin Buch Thorborg’s printed books, e-books and audiobooks on thorborg.dk. We sell only to customers in Denmark.

Prices and payment

Prices and fees are shown in Danish kroner, including applicable VAT. You will see the total price, including any shipping, before you place your order. We accept Visa and Mastercard. Any additional payment options are shown at checkout. These are one-off purchases.

For printed books, payment is taken only when the book is dispatched. For digital books, payment is taken when the content is made available. You will receive an order confirmation and receipt by email.

Shipping

Printed books are delivered within Denmark within 5 days. Shipping costs DKK 49 per order containing printed books. Any separate publication or delivery dates for pre-orders must be stated on the product before purchase.

E-books and audiobooks are delivered digitally once payment has been confirmed. The delivery method is stated in the product description. The book app for "Hvad man ikke har i hovedet…" provides online access using a one-time code sent to the email address used for the order, on no more than two browser profiles at a time. You have access to the digital book for at least 2 years from the purchase date. It includes the prologue and 20 chapters as text, plus audio for the prologue and chapters 1–2. The book is in Danish and is still being edited. You need an internet connection, an up-to-date browser and access to your email; the product provides online access rather than downloadable files. The personal text and audio greeting uses the first name from the order. For other digital products, the file format and download instructions are stated on the product page and in the order email. Digital products have no shipping charge.

Cancelling a purchase of printed books

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right to cancel from the day you receive the book. Notify us clearly at martin@thorborg.dk before the deadline. You then have a further 14 days to return the book.

Return address: CLOUD1 ApS, Skodsborg Strandvej 288, 2942 Skodsborg, Denmark. You pay the direct cost of returning the book. You are liable for any reduction in value if the book has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

We will refund the purchase price and the original standard delivery charge no later than 14 days after you notify us of your cancellation. We may withhold the refund until we have received the book or proof of its return. The refund will be made using the same payment method, unless otherwise agreed at no cost to you. For partial returns, the shipping refund depends on the remaining order.

Cancelling a purchase of e-books and audiobooks

For digital content, the starting point is a 14-day right to cancel from the conclusion of the agreement. If you expressly consent to delivery before that period expires and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right to cancel, that right ends when delivery begins. Your consent and acknowledgement are confirmed in the order email. A standard checkbox accepting the terms does not replace this separate consent.

Faults and complaints

You have rights in the event of faults and defects under the Danish Sale of Goods Act, including, as a general rule, a 2-year right to complain. Contact martin@thorborg.dk with your order number and a description of the fault. Complain within a reasonable time after discovering the fault; within 2 months is always considered timely. We also handle faults affecting digital files and access to purchased products.

Complaints

Contact us first at martin@thorborg.dk. If we cannot find a solution, you can explore the options for submitting a complaint to the Danish Centre for Complaint Resolution and the Consumer Complaints Board through Nævnenes Hus, provided the purchase meets the applicable conditions.
