Why you should buy E-pusher 3.0

· Martin Thorborg

E-pusher 3.0 is my attempt to give more online retailers access to the knowledge I have gathered through working in e-commerce. I cannot visit all the shops and help them personally, but I can write a book where you can find advice on the things you want to improve.

The video is from April 2009. The page count, sales figures and price I mention here apply to that version and that time.

Why I wrote E-pusher 3.0

I have been an online retailer since 1995 and had already spent many thousands of hours on e-commerce back then. A great many people had come to me asking whether I could help with their websites.

I had looked at a huge number of sites and helped many different online retailers. Often, small details determine whether they sell a lot or a little. In the video, I mention Saxo.com as an example of a well-known online bookshop where I had helped increase revenue in just a few hours.

That may sound incredible. But something is not necessarily difficult when you have experience with it. Making a good chair is not that difficult either if you are a skilled cabinetmaker.

I really wanted to share that knowledge with far more people. I could see potential that online retailers were missing in their shops. At the same time, I could not clone myself and help everyone in Denmark, however much I wanted to. So I sat down and wrote E-pusher.

From the first versions to a 175-page book

First came version 1, followed by version 2. I sold 1,750 copies of version 2 alone. I found that people online and on Amino were really happy with the book.

With version 3, I had created a 175-page book packed with examples. In easy-to-understand language, with pictures and short videos, I show how you can work on your online shop and get more out of it.

You can pick out the parts of the book you need. If, for example, you are struggling with the payment system, go to the section on payment systems and find advice on the various things you need to get right.

I have tried to avoid difficult words. Any words that still need explaining are linked in the book to a text explaining their meaning. You should be able to follow along without feeling stupid.

Both new and experienced online retailers can use it

I think the book is bloody brilliant if you have just started your online shop. But I also think it is useful if you are very experienced.

I would buy a similar book written by a competitor myself. When I read about things online, I get inspired. I am also reminded of things I really ought to know but have forgotten or not paid enough attention to.

That is part of the value of taking in other people’s experiences. You do not have to be a beginner to find something useful or be reminded of something. If you have an online shop and want to sell more, I think E-pusher 3.0 is a tool that can help you.

Start with E-pusher light if you want to try the advice

In the video, the full version costs 1,500 kroner plus VAT. I know that is a lot of money for a book, and I understand that you see it as an investment.

So I encourage you to start with the light edition if you have not already. My expectation is that you can use its advice to make money and thereby work towards earning back the cost of the full version.

Try the advice in your shop. Get something out of it, and then buy the full version if you want to go further. That is the route I suggest in the video.

I really hope you succeed and sell like there’s no tomorrow. Enjoy.
